Well the rain had a predictable response on our little frog community. The green treefrogs have appeared and the Striped Marshfrogs are breeding already. In the top photo the marshie is a little hard to see, its in the bottom RH of the shot with the frog spawn at top left.

Good stuff. I saw my first tree frog of the season today (Litoria fallax). He was very small.

You posted it on frogs.org.au forum a while ago, and I have kept an eye on it since. I live in Newcastle. You have commented on some of my photos on Flickr (I'm liquid_ghoul).
Cute little fella you got here Roy. We haven't had that many frogs this year but then we've had a much drier winter than normal.

Yes, I have seen Donna's blog. It is amazing the diversity of frogs she has at her place. I hope she gets some rain though, she said it has been very dry and the frogs aren't coming out.
That frog looks great, The colours really have come alive. A very plesant change from the usual cain toads that have taken over further up Northern Australia
I like frogs too but haven't seen any in my garden yet.
I do have snakes! But they are garter snakes. A-OK.
