Finally some decent showers.

Apologies for being somewhat slack in posting over the last month or so. I've been doing a few markets recently selling Hoyas, Bromeliads and Succulents as a fundraiser for African Aid, plus life is very busy as well. I hate making excuses but also I think I may have had a touch of bloggers block (something akin to writers block) . I must organise myself better to do a regular post and visit some favourite blogs. Anyway here in Brisbane the heavens have opened briefly and given us a few welcome showers, which as you can see has made froggarden's little inhabitants very happy. Unfortunately we still need what they call a "rain event" to stave off level5 water restrictions which take effect in April and could mean no outdoor watering at all, We'll have to wait and see.

Good to see they are back. That Peron's looks particularly dark. Good luck with the rain.

The frogs sure are enjoying the rain.
My eldest daughter is mad about frogs, rang and told me she has just had a tattoo of a frog done on her ankle.
Doesn't matter how old they are they do some wierd things.

Really pleased to see you back Roy. What is the pot which the second little frog is sheltering in? Did you put it there as a frog-house, or did he find it by chance?

Sue, they are what we call self-watering pots and the hole is for the overflow once the reservoir is full in the bottom. The frogs love them because they are moist and cool in the day,

Wow! I have always wanted to have a frog garden! I am so glad I found your site! Any tips on types of plants that are best for frogs? I'm planning on writing a post on my site about attracting animals to your garden. I didn't even think about frogs. I'll definitely link to your site when I write it!

These frog photographs are brilliant. I would be interested to know how you can attract more frogs to your garden pond aswell. Can you get green frogs like yours in England?
