Driveway project

Because we have no garden on each side of the driveway Larraine came up with the lattice idea.
we already had plenty of the terracotta hanging pots. For our first planting we chose compact miniature Zinnias in white , pink and orange. Below is Liriope which has a nice mauve berry type of flower. It's quite along driveway so it was good to brighten it up a little. We really are garden tragics just when we think we've done it all we find something else to do.

Wow! Beautiful! Great idea. You're so fortunate to live in Brisbane - My husband and I visited there in January and absolutely loved it! I couldn't get over the site of the amazing giant fruit bats flying out of the botanical garden at sundown.

You and Larraine are very innovative Roy. I like your idea of hanging pots on the lattice. I'd love to see a view of your yard. How much space do you have? From what I've read here before, I'm assuming it's not a great deal. But you certainly seem to fit a lovely assortment of plants into it.

Wow... just the lattices and terracotta pots alone add a lot of color and pizzaz. Nice job!

What a great idea! I have just the spot I want to try this. Great way to save space. Our driveway is so narrow and bare looking! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone for your commments. Bernadette they are terracotta pots with a flat back and a hole in them for hanging. They are a great idea but I don't think they are made anymore.

What an inspirational pic. I'm afraid my driveway just looks plain ordinary, but it shows what you can do if you put your mind to it.
