Green thumb Sunday
Well.... for this weeks GTS our Irises that are growing in the pond have decided to put on a show. They certainly add that extra touch of colour to the garden at the moment.
Our little Eastern sedgefrog population have taken over the large water bowl ( photo 3rd down rh. side) they are making plenty of noise, but no babies yet. A really good downpour would definately do the trick. It's probably worth a click for a larger view on the Iris shots.
Enjoy your week and Happy gardening!

You'll have to show us a close up photo of a sedge frog. :) Lovely flowers, very nice close up too. :)
qld gardens can look so tropical without even trying!

Very nice.... Another flower i had at the old house that I haven't gotten around to planting at the new one....
Man, if that's what your garden looks like during a DROUGHT...
So lush and green.
I hope you have guest quarters.
I love the ducks too,and the greenery is fantastic,we have very temperate gardens hereand not much in the tropical look...
Hi Roy..Just popped over to view
your garden, great colour in the Iris. But I agree we certainly need
the rain!!
A very pretty Iris. Your garden does look very lush and tropical.
Your garden is alive in Australia and here in Canada ours are preparing for their deep winter sleep! I know where I"ll be coming to visit when the north wind does blow! Thank you for visiting Nature-trail!
I love Iris'es, so I can see how this one is coloring your nice looking pond.
It must be wonderful to relax in your garden :-)
Hi Roy
The iris is great isn't it. I adore them but get confused - I plant blue ones and they seem to turn white in the second season!
Oh, yo have so nice photos, I like them to see them in November. I can not wait for spring!
