Brisbane late afternoon

Well we are still having showers which is wonderful. There's not a lot doing on the garden front, so I thought I'd post a couple of shots taken from Mt Cootha. Looking southeast towards Brisbane and Morton bay (top) Looking south towards Toowong and a bend in the Brisbane river (centre) and looking southwest over the suburbs (bottom) I hope you are having a lovely summer in the northern hemisphere, happy gardening everyone! P.S. sorry the photo's are bit bleak, click on for larger shot.

How nice to see your lovely pictures of Brisbane. I was there many moons ago, before I was married, and then again on a working trip in my 20's. It's a pretty city.
Alice sent us that url too. It's a neat website. She has inspired me to take some pictures of clouds. I saw a beauty today just before a thunder storm. Yes, more rain here, but light this time, thank heavens.

I think Brisbane has grown up a lot since you were here Kerri, It used to be thought of as a branch city and a big country town. Now I think about 80,000 people a year move to S.E.Queensland. I think it moved ahead in leaps and bounds after we had Expo 88.
